[Daisy can't help but think about how much bigger he is in person, and how happy this interaction between the two of them would make Coulson. Looking upwards, she blinks back the tears that are threatening to form, playing it off as if she's trying to think over his question.]
Wanda, Matthew Murdock, and a few people that are apparently from our world but I never heard of them before coming here.
[Clearing her throat, Daisy fidgets by tucking her hair behind her ear.]
[ The idea that this stranger could be tearing up definitely doesn't occur to Steve. He assumes she's concentrating or maybe even blinking back some dust that got in her eyes.
He does brighten briefly and nod as she mentions a few other familiar faces. That means she's probably in Solvunn, and learned of Matt through Wanda, but that's just a guess.
Also because she didn't mention a certain someone. ]

[ And at her apology, he gives a quick shake of his head and lifts a hand to wave her off. ]
Don't worry about it. It's actually weirdly normal. It's been a while since I was recognized like this. What's your name?
[ Daisy. It's a perfectly normal name, and doesn't seem to mean anything to him. He nods to her in greeting and acknowledgment, but that's all. ]

[ But right, timelines. That always complicates things, especially when the Snap is taken into account. His expression darkens for a moment, but he doesn't hesitate long before answering. ]
Yep, same here. I think she's a little ahead of me in terms of timeline, but not by much.
[ The events of Westview haven't happened for him yet.
With some care, he asks: ] How about you? [ Was she dusted? Has the Snap even happened for her yet? And how much did Wanda mention about any of that? ]
[Daisy notes the way his expression changes, and she wonder's what that is about. Worry begins to worm its way into her mind, but she doesn't ask questions. Not yet anyway.]

[The Sokovia Accords. Daisy hadn't thought about that whole thing in a minute, but at the mention of it she remembers having done her own research on it.]

[She tilts her head slightly, realizing the way he asked that made it seem almost as if they weren't a thing anymore.]
[ So much has happened since then that the Accords really do feel like a distant memory. Not that they hadn't left their mark — it had taken years for him and Tony to come to some sort of reconciliation — but there's been countless other things on Steve's mind. ]
I guess none of that's really relevant to here, though.
[ He crosses his arms and takes a glance around, watching as werewolves and vampires alike pass by them. ]
[2023. That's not that far in the future, and yet it feels as though it is. So much has probably changed since then, and she can already feel the questions forming in her mind.]
