I can't remember the last time that I got a letter like this. I hadn't even realized I missed it, so thank you for that.
I didn't know you got glimpses of my memory while drinking my blood, but the shield isn't much of a secret, so you don't have to worry about it. I appreciate you telling me, though, and I can give you context for it if you're interested. Although let's just say that I fought in a big war of my own, and that's when the shield really came to be.
A little celebration or gathering in your domain is probably going to be a lot nicer than that gala, although I made the most of it. I'll definitely make sure to stop in, although again, you don't have to worry that much about thanking me. I gave you my blood both to help you but also to make sure that everyone in that cave with us stayed safe.
I'll be there, though, and then we can talk more. It sounds like we might actually have a couple of things in common.
